My friend has gone through a lot of Datsuns over the years. He’s talked about building one as a rally car, but never done it, he keeps ending up with these cruisers.

most Datto 1600s ended up as rally cars here, now the rally crowd are using Lancers and WRX’s, seldom see the old Dattos now.

Oh no. Here they were szeen as “disposable cars” and weren’t taken care of, eventually ending up getting crushed. Those left are all torn down as project cars, most of which never get fixed.

Of course my friend’s current project is this Sunny...
